The IPS team delivers conceptual front-end engineering that yields higher quality, better cost control, and tighter schedule adherence. Working closely with our clients, we confirm the scope of the project and establish its requirements, develop a master schedule and a detailed cost estimate, and create site-specific safety and quality-assurance plans. IPS not only provides in-house engineering services, but also teams up with engineering firms with special expertise in their market sectors to provide the best-possible results for clients.
The procurement expertise that the IPS team delivers, along with access to a superior supplier network and volume-leveraged pricing, ensures maximum return on investment for our clients. We can procure hard-to-obtain items (such as refractory brick) or materials that require long lead to purchase. The IPS procurement process includes competitive bidding, pre-qualification of bidders, soliciting alternative bids, bid reviews, value-based bid analysis, and contract awards. Part of the procurement process involves addendum and clarification management and updating the project cost estimate.
Our 100,000-square-foot fabrication facility gives us ample room to to engineer, fabricate and assemble skids, tanks, pressure vessels and erect-system modules. Because we can pre-fabricate pipes and other system elements and store them securely, we can meet aggressive construction deadlines and deliver high-quality components on a just-in-time schedule. Other components we fabricate include structural sub-assemblies, material-handling systems, and food-processing modules.
